Mangels
About Us
Mangels was founded in 1928 with the production of galvanized buckets, but it soon proved to be a company with its eyes on the future. Only 10 years later it was already diversifying its activities with the production of gas cylinders.
During the 1960s it expands its plants and enters the steel automotive wheel market, exporting even to the United States. In 1965, Mangels begins to produce air tanks for brake systems on trucks and buses.
Showing its pioneering spirit, the company’s trademark, in the last decade of the 20th century it begins to produce aluminum wheels and becomes the main supplier for the automotive industry and aftermarket. Today it is the largest Brazilian company in the sector and one of the largest in Latin America with its products being used in the automotive, motorcycle, truck, bus, and household appliance sectors.
