Aluminum Wheels

We did not invent the wheel, but we perfected it

Demonstrating its pioneering spirit, Mangels began production of steel wheels in the 60s and expanded its line to aluminum wheels in the 90s. With an impressive volume of almost 60 million wheels sold in Brazil and abroad by 2025, the company attests to its reliability and grandeur in the global market.

Mangels was founded in 1928 with the production of galvanized buckets, During the 1960s it expands its plants and enters the steel automotive wheel market, exporting even to the United States.

Showing its pioneering spirit, in the last decade of the 20th century it begins to produce aluminum wheels and becomes the main supplier for the automotive industry and aftermarket.

Today it is the largest Brazilian company in the sector and one of the largest in Latin America.

Producing aluminum wheels is a complex process that involves several stages from the transformation of raw aluminum all the way to making the final part ready to be installed on a vehicle. All the manufacturing steps go through strict quality controls to ensure a perfect result.

OWN LABORATORY

The manufacturing of aluminum wheels involves a series of rigorous laboratory processes to ensure the product’s quality, durability, and safety. These tests are critical to assessing the performance of the wheels in a variety of conditions and ensuring that they meet the quality standards required by the automotive industry.

Mangels’ laboratory is certified by all vehicle manufacturers in South America.

Mangels performs strict controls on its wheels such as a thorough evaluation of the materials used, a verification of the resistance and structure of the wheels, and analyzing the surface finish.

OWN TOOLING

Our plant has its own tooling, which makes the projects and molds built with precision and confidentiality, ensuring quality and speed in any project.

PARTNERSHIP IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF WHEELS

Mangels has an engineering department capable of interacting with professionals in the automotive sector, resulting in co-design and feasibility of new products within the specifications of each customer.

Finishes

One of Mangels’ great differentiators is the finish of its wheels.
